On March 1, 2021, we are releasing new features for FieldSense. Get Denmark's most local Septoria alerts, keep track of wind direction, spray under perfect weather conditions with the new Spray Dashboard, and benefit from the new dew point analysis for harvest, spraying, and more.

Here are the new features coming to FieldSense on March 1st:

We are implementing a range of new features to FieldSense on March 1st, 2021. Get an overview and read more about the new features that many of our users have long been requesting, and of course, they are included in your Farm Weather subscription.

• Septoria Alarm: Denmark's most local Septoria alarm.
• Wind Direction: View real-time and historical wind direction.
• Spray Dashboard: Spray under the perfect wind conditions.
• Dew Point: Get an overview of the dew point temperature.

Denmark's most local Septoria alarm

We are implementing a Septoria alarm. With this feature, you can keep track of whether the weather conditions for Septoria are favorable or not. By following the color scale, you can assess when it is time for treatment.

With the dense network of FieldSense weather stations in Denmark, we are confident that it will become Denmark's most accurate and local Septoria alarm. We are certain that you will greatly benefit from it in the future.

Wind Direction

View wind direction in real-time and in the historical data

Avoid drift when spraying by knowing the wind direction. Wind direction is added to both current and historical weather data, allowing you to document and analyze the conditions during your spraying operations after they have been performed.

Wind direction has been a long-requested feature, and starting from March 1st, you can benefit from the new data point provided by your weather stations.

Spray under the perfect wind conditions

A new spraying overview provides you with a comprehensive summary of relevant wind conditions when you need to spray.

On the page, you will be greeted with a quick overview and then presented with the weather data that forms the basis for assessments. Here, you can see if the current conditions for wind, precipitation, and evaporation are favorable for spraying or if you should wait a bit.

Dew Point

Get an overview of the dew point temperature

Dew point temperature is added to your historical weather data. This allows you to evaluate the effectiveness of your sprays and conduct your own analyses related to harvesting, spraying, and similar activities.
